YA Short Stories

Short stories would seem to be an ideal form for the teenaged reader and I don't think that has anything to do with their supposed shorter attention-span either. The form itself is just so dense and packed and delivers the punch of great writing in a smaller package--what's not to love? Cynthia Leitich Smith interviews Donald Gallo on short stories including Gallo's newest anthology.
